Follow Me to Palm Springs
(2022)
There is only one word that describes Palm Springs… PARADISE! There is a peacefulness being in the desert that is hard to describe but readily apparent upon arriving.
Follow Me to Palm Springs Travel Guide provides pictures and pages of information about local experiences like “The Sport of Kings” called Polo, the nearby Joshua Tree National Park, the world’s largest rotating tramcar at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the gigantic Marilyn Monroe statute and much more. When you need refueling, restaurants abound to satiate your taste buds morning, noon, and night.
With over 300 days of sunshine, beautiful, picturesque sunsets and sunrises against the breathtaking mountains, over 100 lush golf courses, thousands of places to enjoy culinary art, scenic hiking and biking trails, yearly international festivals; open spaces of vibrant, colorful flowers, an abundance of crystal-clear relaxing pools, it’s hard to believe one cannot find something new to experience while visiting the Palm Springs area.

The author really has taken time to make your experience in the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley fun and exciting. You will enjoy the beautiful pictures and the wonderful selections of restaurants that the author has enjoyed for years. This travel guide is a keeper.

About Pam Maloof
It started over 30 years ago as I moved to the desert for a director position at the Palm Springs Youth Center. I also gave tennis and golf lessons along the way. While teaching, I always loved looking up at the snow-cap mountains of San Jacinto, thinking, “I live in PARADISE!”.
My subsequent employment put me in the position of Activity Director. I put on parties for 10 to 400 people, including Mystery Dinners, Ladies Luncheons, and Special Events all over the Coachella Valley.
I always enjoy finding places to go, sites to see, things to do, and outdoor activities for people to participate in while visiting.
Putting my favorite recommendations into one book to share has given me more joy than I could imagine.
Enjoy Paradise!
